I never believed for a moment that when the time comes Ben and 'em would be dropping green cash off real life helicopters. Of course not... a check in the mail is so much more civilized. The next thing they'll do is TARGET the stimulus. Send out not checks, but gift certificates. Like, for example, $2000 to be applied to the purchase of any American made car.... $200 for gasoline... 175 to be applied to cover bar bills during (domestic) vacations. Et cetera. "Free" federal mortgage insurance for the subprime borrowers would also go a long way in restoring the confidence in..... not sure exactly in what, but it wouldn't be in the Dollar.
