I was watching the ABC Nightly News coverage of Bush's $800 per taxpayer rebate program.

Some economist mentioned that we will have to repeat this rebate program quarterly until the economy turns around ! ! !

I was laughing so hard I didn't catch his name. And Mutt Romney has already suggested tax rebates of twice what Bush has proposed!

"Romney proposes $250 bln economic stimulus package"
news.yahoo.com

Each $800 per person rebate is equal to roughly 1% of GDP. So we're now proposing to give away 4% of GDP per year, or more, either printed or borrowed from China.

This is all so desperate and pathetic. Apparently those at the wheel believe we are in no position to accept declining asset prices. Unbelievable Monetarist rubbish.

My Grandmother always told me the Depression would come back just when no one thought it could happen.

I dunno what's more sad, watching Bush or Hillarys plan.

Well Bush's is 4 times as big.

news.yahoo.com

You sad 'cause it's too small?

Otherwise the sadness should be pretty obvious....

(God it must be confusing being in the GOP corner here...)
