I'm sure Black Panther Bobby Seale was there on vacation... Talk about the Black Panthers a year later... the anniversary of the MLK assassination, now that was a race riot. I was there too... trying my best to get out of the west side while it was just starting to go up in flames. But the '68 convention was a bunch of hippies... and it was a "police riot", not a race riot. I was in the 'front row' on Michigan Ave a few moments before it started. Facing off the National Guard with fixed bayonets. I can tell you all about it. A little living history.
