Steve,
Since you have formed a relationship with Marc and Rhonda, will you try to find if, in fact, the EDI system will eliminate the contract process, at least with the big guys?

Somehow we need to clarify this and lay it to rest killing some of the "contract, contract, contract" humdrum that has plagued this and other boards for the last year.

We're all looking for some validation that the end is near and, speaking solely from my industry experience, as I stated earlier, this should be it...

Gary

Thank you rushlong for your thoughtful reply and analysis. It seems very reasonable pertaining to big companies such as GM, Ford, etc. What is less clear to me is why this hasn't already been adopted by any of the new companies that use machines that would be covered. Surely there are plenty of companies that don't have near the red tape and political concerns and not near as much at stake that would love to use this technology. Whether it is a company that makes potato chips or semiconductor chips--aren't they aplenty? And, those in other countries? Don't any of these build new plants or need new machines?

Why hasn't the company persued or been able to sell to smaller players that should be able to immediately see the benefit to their industry?

Sorry if my questions reflect profound ignorance as to ACII's potential market. I'm still trying to learn, and am hopeful that some of you longtimers here can help me see what I'm missing on a few of these things.

thanks,
