Maybe, depending on exactly what you mean by that. But the global warming issue is largely about specific actions and outcomes, not simple laws.

AFAIK, all the laws of science detail how various phenomena behave within certain constraints. They can only say statistically that certain outcomes should occur, and they cannot in anyway guarantee those outcomes in the presence of factors beyond the theory's constraints. Astonishingly enough, this method has produced all the miracles of modern technology, so it is very useful, despite an inability to predict the future with 100% accuracy.


Evolution deniers deny a lot more than life descending from a common ancestor.


This is the only thing they are really interested in denying. The rest is simply a frantic attempt to appear consistent. The same is largely true of the AGW deniers. They could care less if the planet is actually warming, as long as it cannot be attributed to human causes. Hence the chant about "natural cycles" of the sun, or whatever.
