I read your conversation about the video and agree that teenage girls should see it. Beauty is between your ears, unseen by the eyes. In that regard, I believe Dolly Parton was beautiful, because she's very smart and knows what she wants. But she's like the spider. She tried to improve on her inner beauty, and if it weren't for her sense of humor about it ("It takes a lot of dough to look this trashy!") her current visage is unworldly. In fact, I think that video is the perfect allegory for what Dolly Parton did to herself, no offense meant. She's still smart as a tack but I don't like to look at her any more.
