LIAR! Kerry has not only never lied about his record, he has never even spoken about it publicly. The lies the smearvets invented to protect the Iraq debacle and corrupt draft-dodgers Bush-Cheney only contradicted Navy Records and every single eyewitness who was actually there. 98% of the smearvets never met Kerry in their lives and know nothing about what he did or didn't do in Vietnam. The other few are proven to have lied by multiuple investigations and/or are long-time rightwing political operatives who happened to have served in Vietnam in the Navy. McCain called the smearvets "dishonest and dishonorable" which is a gross understatement and McCain knows it. McCain also called one of them "the most despicable individual I have ever had the misfortune of meeting". The smearvets were funded by corporate cronies and oil profiteer pals of Rove and Delay. Everything was organized by Rove and Delay's dirty tricksters for the Bush campaign. They all lied about this since day one. The same smears against Kerry's war record were just repeated in South Carolina for the second time against McCain, calling him a "coward, traitor and in collusion with the enemy". All toal BS and disgraceful treasonous smears, same as the smears against Kerry. The ABC Nightline investigation and conservative Washington Times investigations prove without any doubt that every single smearvet claim was a bald-faced lie, bar none. In fact, they prove Kerry's war record was spotless and superlative. The Vietnam War involved thousands of atrocities by our side (sadly) and was completely unwinnable since 1968 as has been revealed by the Pentagon Papers, Robert McNamara and others. The Vietnam War was also escalated based on a big fat lie by LBJ, similar to GW Bush's big fat lie to get us into Iraq. Both were closely allied with Halliburton (Brown and Root) our country's #1 war profiteer and a thoroughly corrupt corporation which rips off billions from taxpayers. If you want a real villain in this story look at corruptive companies like Halliburton who promote a state of permanent war, one of the reasons this country's going broke now and our military is in tatters, just like it was in 1974 into the Carter years.
