Dufus, please read your own source, and try to understand it:

From Wikipedia

In thermodynamics, work is the quantity of energy transferred from one system to another without an accompanying transfer of entropy. It is a generalization of the concept of mechanical work in mechanics. In the SI system of measurement, work is measured in joules (symbol: J). The rate at which work is performed is power.

So work = energy (Can you read?)

The derivative of work with respect to time is power.

Or alternately, work is the integral over time of power.

Neither work nor energy = power.

You cannot simply multiply or divide by an extra set of units because you get some stupid idea in your head to do so. Using your logic, why don't you claim that Work is Force, measured as distance, since F = W/d? After all, if you can claim that 1/s leaves things the same than why not 1/m?

So by your nutty logic, Force, Work, and Power are all the same thing. You could keep changing units at your whim and show that all physical factors are the same using one step at a time. LOL!
