Arbitration is wildly inconsistent. I know of a case with the exact same facts where the results were:

investor 1 - brokerage owes him 1.5m plus attorney fees
investor 2 - client owes brokerage 150k

You are trusting your life savings to people who sit on two or three panels a year.

I have a friend who does nasd because he needs the work, he is absolutely the last guy you would want on a panel, knows nothing about securities, but he has a j.d. so he qualifies.
