I already saw that but when I asked someone what the product was I interpreted it to be that of a mature industry--simply machining. I see now that it IS machining, but with advanced computer controlling. This would not be mature, so can explain the high margins. Here's wiki on CNC machining: en.wikipedia.org

Glad to see them in this area, and it should be a great compliment to the LACC process. Anyone have an opinion on why LACC hasn't been adopted by smaller industries so far?

If a guy has to stand in place to remove metal shavings, isn't it a no-brainer to sell this as a cost saving tool by demonstrating a comparable machining process that creates no metal shavings? Even if not, can't the company offer an incentive that takes into account their confidence in the savings-aspect of their product? IOW why does there have to be a 2-3 year sales lead? For the GMs and Fords of the world, yes. But for everyone?

Just looking for reasonable explanations for this issue.

thanks,
ted
