Glad to hear he's some better....My bet is that if he even thinks of skiing on that knee for awhile, he will rethink that again. He DEFINITELY doesn't want to fall, on top of whatever damage he has already done....trust me on that!

Sometimes we cause ourselves greater damage by trying to be "tough" or "I can handle this", etc....I've had VAST experience with that several years ago when I tore my shoulder to smithereens....I thought I was just being "brave" and actually the arthritis was in there tearing the tendon, ruptured the rotator, and some other stuff....I didn't know that not wanting a cortizon shot was the least of my problems....

Tell him that...but do men ever listen? Tell me out there if any guys are reading this....what does it take for you all to listen to the Doc or even your own body?

And M~ You take care of you too....as Fran said, bring two books or a couple of magazines you haven't had time to brouse through yet...

If chicken soup sounds good this week, try some QFC or Costco fresh cooked chicken, orleft over chicken pieces in canned broth, nuke onions and celery in the microwave for about 5 minutes, put them in the broth, and either put some left over pasta in, or just stick some Chinese egg noodle strands in the liquid....I tossed in some rosemary too....It's really good....I hear our temps are getting down into the 20's this week at night....
