You're wrong. Hillary is stronger than Obama against McCain.
realclearpolitics.com

If you scroll down I think you'll find Edwards is also very strong. Edwards can also put red states in play. But that is a moot point now. It is almost impossible for Edwards to get the Nom so we only have two choices.

But you can plainly see that Hillary bests McCain more than Obama. And also Hillary is already vetted, Obama is not. Hillary bests McCain after 15 years of rightwing smear campaigns and no real scandals. Bill's infidelity is not her fault.

Furthermore, Romney may be the GOP nominee. He is the Hillary to Obama's McCain. Romney is the GOP establishment candidate. My friend helps run Romney's campaign and they are very close to Jeb Bush and the big GOP elite financial interests. McCain is not. McCain's claim to fame is with independents and pushing the Surge, but most Americans want Iraq to end Surge or no Surge.

Bottomline on Obama if he can beat Hillary in California he rules. if not, then he's #2 and he loses. But whomever wins, support him.her %100. There is not that much differnece, pus Obama may become president anyway in 2016, so why not save him?

Hillary's VP would probably be Wes Clark. He would be her guy to handle the Iraq debacle, and other military matters so she can focus on what she does best, domestic and less military issues.

But Obama and Edwards could team up. That is one way Obama could overcome the CLinton super delegates if he can't bat her on Super Tuesday. Might actually happen. Those two seem to get along well. And Obama could use a white southerner. very much so in fact. Race IS an issue. A huge one. Never deny that.

The funny thing is, that McCain did badly on head-to-head polling last summer. But that comes back to the point that he's been under the radar for so long.
