The perfect is the enemy of the good. Are religious people often hypocritical? Then religion is evil. No that doesn't follow. Hypocrisy is a trait of flawed humans. Everyone is hypocritical, even spiritual people not belonging to an organized religion. Brumar, I am sick to death talking about Man's religions. If you want to talk about spiritual events where we directly interact with the supranatural, I will be glad to do so. But talking about Man's religions is simply a third party intermediary where much of the beauty of spiritualism is lost.
