Zeus, I've known lots of people who weren't bodybuilders or strength lifters who worked out exclusively with weights, and most had great heart and lung health. IMHO, progressive weight training opens new capillaries and that accounts for the vascular health. The problem is finding a way to progress when you've been doing it for a long time. You have to mix up your routine. Which is easy for me, because I forget and I don't read my notes. <G>
