Bush-Cheney are the only wannabe fascists. Bush has even made the freudian slip a few times, talking about himself as dictator in half-joking terms. Their thefts of elections, attacks on the Constitution, upsetting of the balance of powers, signing statements transcending congressional laws, snubbing subpoenas, pardoning administration crooks, lying to the press, destroying mountains of evidence, outing CIA agents as warning shots to whistleblowers, covering up the Pat Tillman murder, etc. etc. these are all hallmarks of a Mushareff type military dictatorship in the making. Bill CLinton was perfectly American and pro Constitutional as presdient. He even let the corrupt rightwing congress drag him through a frivolous witch hunt investigation of his and his wife's entire lives looking for dirt. Bush-Cheney would simply ignore the subpoenas and maybe fake a terrorist scare. This all comes from the far right's beleif that Nixon made a mistake handing over his tapes, that he should have destroyed the evidence and snubbed subpoenas instead, which in fact leads to a sort of dictatorship.
