CJ, it's clear to me that Hitler didn't believe in any god but that of his own ideology, i.e. putting himself in the place of God. He used his "Christianity" as more of a racial identity and as an ideological basis for his anti-Semitism.

In any case, there are more than enough similarities between that and Nietzscheism to call it an atheistic movement. Nazism is a direct application of The Will To Power and the concept of the Ubermensch. Most scholars of Nietzsche will draw out details to get a more accurate picture of his philosophies vs. one of the darkest evils of the 20th century, but in my opinion, those "nuances" aren't sufficient to morally disassociate the two.
