Not a single Bushie leader ever served in combat. As for the smearvets "for truth", only one of them ever witnessed Kerry in combat. That's one out of 255 I think. 3-4 others met Kerry a few times in Nam. The others never met him in their lives, know nothing about him except rightwing propaganda smears, and the smearvet leader John O'Neill was Nixon/Colson's handpicked pointman to smear Kerry in 1971. You can hear it on the Nixon tapes. Dick says to Colson "Destroy him" (meaning Kerry)then Colson tells Nixon he's found a kid who he thinks can do the dirty work for them. That would be O'Neill who had never met Kerry in his life and only met him once, at a TV debate. So exactly who amongst the rightwing smearvets was qualified to say a single thing about Kerry? and why did they have the right to contradict all US Navy records and every single eyewitness? And where do they get off telling us there were no atrocities in Vietnam, or that Kerry helped lose the war, considering it was already lost before Kerry even started protesting it? In fact the Pentagon Papers make clear the war was known to be unwinnable back in 1967-1968. which is why LBJ stepped down and the only reason he stepped down.
