I am not making interpretations of historical events, you are. Hitler had a fairly convoluted set of beliefs, but atheism doesn't seem to be in the mix.

Those groups have a lot that they can be held accountable for. But, unlike the Crusades, they did not do their actions in the name of atheism. Hitler did say he was going after the Jews in the name of the Lord, though.

Hitler had a weird stew of religious beliefs. He certainly wasn't an atheist.
