Well, I took a look at the trader screen, typed in CPQ, saw it was down 20% qnd promptly took out a small starter position at 2.63. "Fraid my due diligence consisted of the fact that Claude, Ogi, and everybody else who seems to know something about shiny rocks liked it and today's news about it. (Actually, I did look at the website but forget what it said.) Guess I'll do more bargain hunting tomorrow. Or headscratching. Maybe OSK warrants? More CKG? Adam Hamilton has published a couple of analyses that gives the pm investor confidence on days like this. In the last two commodity bull markets, pm stocks have thrived even when general equities have dived--but sometimes it takes a couple of months for the decoupling to emerge.
