January 18, 2008 -- I'VE had a huge response to Tuesday's column about The New York Times' obscene bid to smear veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan as mad killers. Countless readers seem to be wondering: Why did the paper do it?

What a bizarre position this guy is taking. Do you always pull these stunts? Is it second nature? The Times article was pointing out the impact the war has had on these soldiers and that returning vets are having a difficult time adjusting to civilian life. Its an issue that needs more public awareness; not less.

Yikes! I don't get what is wrong with you people. Its as if you grew up in Uzbekistan......far away from American freedom and enlightenment.

Bushies are the enemy of Vets and US Servicemen. They have committed a list of gross crimes against our veterans and military personnel which cannot be forgiven, especially since their corporate cronies like Halliburton have profited so grossly and illegally from these deceits.

Time to put a permanent END to all US wars for profit. That means the Halliburtons, weapons-makers and oil gougers all need to be called on the carpet, de-fanged and heaviuly fined for their illegal behavior.

We also need investigation s into who murdered Pat Tillman, who covered it up, who ordered the Abu Graiab atrocities, who let Blackwater get away with mass murder and who covered up the Halliburton gang rape. Also, who stole the billions of OUR money which is just plain "missing" in Iraq? Whoa re the real crooks?

Probably the same draft-dodging cowards who tell us "mission accomplished" and use our troops as photo op props while screwing them every which way they can.
