Edit: the electronic future is trading at -625, it rebounded 15. Still a little bit away from the trading curbs...

if the Dow does what the Euro Indices did today (8% off) then this is a -1000 reading.

check out the amazing parabolic rise (cr*sh) in the CMBX. this chart is just through Friday, so i am guessing it will look extra special fugly tomorrow. every CMBX tranche closed at an all-time low (all-time-high spread) on Friday. same for the CDX contracts.

That's pretty grim. All the workaday schlubs with index fund 401ks can say hello to 2000 again! Eight years of Bush ends up a market wash.
