Bush is handling this crisis the way he handled Katrina. First, ignorance. This guy doesn't feign ignorance. He had no idea this could happen. Second, do nothing and hope it goes away. Third, panic and push the Fed to lower rates after the worst inflation report in decades. Fourth, bail out the big banks by selling them to foreigners. And, finally, let the problem get worse until we are in depression.
