You're right. Logic was a poor choice of word. Maybe hardwired for faith or religion is better. There are studies showing that some people's brains seem more inclined to react to certain emotional stimuli than others. As Anais Nin said, "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are."

There is a whole fairly new field of research on this called neurotheology, which, being a physician, you probably know far more about than I. It respects both sides, supposedly.

None of which will answer however, the ultimate question of whether our brains create God, or God created our brains as a means of communicating with us. But until we "know" God, have proof of God beyond faith- and most here seem to be acknowledging this hasn't yet happened- it shouldn't be in the science classroom. That really is all I am arguing. I fully accept that much is unknown, and great mysteries still lie before us.
