so, if you have an adjustable rate mortgage which was going to reset, are you now smiling because it's going to reset lower. if i remember right, this whole deal started because homeowners were not going to be able to pay their higher mortgages and they could not sell because they had no equity against falling prices...

LULU, for one, already reaffirmed. They have only 30 stores in the US at this point. Same-store sales are in the 20's. It's a phenomenon.

We are getting a reflex bounce off the fed cut. I don't think this mornings low was the low.

Totally agree. I just increased my SDS position back from 50% of my acct to 100%. I had lightened up on Friday expecting some kind of fed-related bounce. Well, the fed has spoken, and the bounce was from Dow -500 to Dow -100. Maybe the bounce goes another 1%, even 2%, who knows, but I do believe that there's much more down ahead.
