Well, I'm back. Drove nearly 2,000 miles in a TJ (jeep wrangler) loaded down completely right to the top of the roof. Worst part of the trip was last 400 miles across West Texas. Had to fight a 50mph head wind causing me to only be able to go 60mph with gas pedal TO THE FLOOR. What an experience, tried to get out of the jeep at a stop and wind was so bad had to prop both feet against the door and shove to open it, dropped out and promptly was BLOWN OVER by the wind. I never want to do that again. It was AWFUL. Dont even want to tell you what it cost me in GAS. Being gone a week we lost our rhythm in unpacking. Now cant remember where we put stuff we unpacked. What a pain. Went to the movers to tell them about stuff they broke, lady there told me she knew people that hadnt completely unpacked in TWO YEARS. So, I guess we are not alone. jdn
