and then we all, are doing something else.

7500 is my mantra. talk to me in 14 months.

i'd suggest a decent oaked single malt for such an event, with sides of very very stinky cheese, cornichons, and cigars of the tongue friendly sort.

Ben Bernanke can go to bed tonight feeling that he has saved the world financial system. All is calm, all is bright. The Shanghai exchange has leveled out. The Australian market is up smartly. After-hours quotes for the U. S. are encouraging. The Nikkei is up 3%.

All is well again.

Just like Neville Chamberlain bringing home the peace in 1938 from Czechoslovakia. "Peace in our time."
