Yes, and it has been in a bear market for 8 years now.
The Dow dropped from 43 to 13, or 70% in terms of real
money (gold). It dropped from 25 to 13, or 48%, since mid-
2005. It is going to low single digits. Such a sharp real
decline may be concealed by the devaluation of the dollar
at times, but that just means your investment buys a lot
less, even though you don't lose and sometimes win and
pay taxes for it. Gold does not really change its value. -g-
