I fully agree with this part of your statement but Ronald Reagen was not a good example. He pandered to the base instincts of blue collar democrats to divide the population against the poorest and most vulnerable in our country. Well, your view is in the minority. I don't have the numbers, but I think Reagan ranks well among most groups compared to the previous 5-10 presidents we've had. Just because you don't like him or his policies doesn't mean that your average American feels that way.
