Reagan and many people in his administration lied about the effect of his tax cut on the Federal deficit, and turned this country into...a second class power... Well, that's certainly not what I was expecting as a response to Mary's charge that Reagan was "cruel" to the "very people your party is trying to protect." Odd word to use to describe lying or losing strength and status. I was expecting something more along the lines of ketchupgate.
