Exactly. The way Numonyx is being structured, it will allow the new management significant power to turn it around yet Intel and STM will have a significant holding in the asset which they are hoping will fetch a better value for them with someone else unlocking its value. This kind of structure avoids employee lawsuits, etc. for INTC and STM from mass firings, etc.

Numonyx cannot be profitable without cutting expenses. This is what I wrote sometime back in this post (check the last paragraph)-
