Jeepers. Inflation was not broke under Carter. That is ridiculous. The decisions that led to the braking of inflation were made under Carter, but the pain - all of it - was under Reagan. It's easy to throw a party - harder to clean up the mess. The party was under Carter, the clean up came under Reagan.
