A nice intraday rally in spoos, at least it's not all down.
XLF, the spoos financial sector, is really moving up,
up 4% so far today, and unchanged since Wednesday last week. -g-
JPM is up 9.40%, C is up 5.70%. Maybe I should have bot those.
I'm happy I covered my shorts in them last week. I thought
enough damage for C, it's not going out of business. I like
that bank. -g- They should be leading the broader market higher.

I bot a few puts on volatility. That's a weird way to get long
these markets. Not long per se, but it's a bet against
the market crash. -g-

Yeah, just look at gold - stocks, including gold stocks, are
having all this mess, and it could not care less. I like that.

Early August is usually the time to back up the truck, while
early February is usually the time to unload the truck. That,
and a huge spec position, has me a bit worried about the
prospects of a drop to 700 or below, since I carry physical.
