Yeah it is not the best self defense weapon around (maybe ok for a back up weapon), but think of the possibilities for getting some protein in the city when the SHTF. Those small shot loads would be perfect for bagging some pigeons and rats. <g> So buy it as your second hand-gun...

o/t .410's are not what you'd consider a man stopper but I'll bet 3/4 oz of no. 6's in the face would sure smart at from about 10' away! Followed up with the remainder of the cylinder loaded with .45 Colt Speer Gold Dot Personal Protection. All IMHO........
