The economy is the final nail in the Republican's coffin. This election will be another 1932.

The Bush economic policies are a huge fraud and ripoff scheme against the people and common wealth of the USA for the top 1% corporate powers, especially the industries ilke Big Oil which badly need to be regulated and de-monopolized Teddy Roosevelt style. This recession is truly going to be nasty. It may be worst than the 1970's. The fact is that Bushies take the rich and big corps a multi trillion dollar tax break, but not only kept spending, but spent even more, and in very dishonest and inefficient ways. The mess in Iraq alone could cost us as much as two trillion dollars in pure debt, which is about $15,000 per US citizen. And much of the reason it's so expensive is outright corruption, none of which gets investigated or cracked down on by the Bush administration. It's like the S+L debacle times ten.

And you wonder why we have an economic crisis? The market going up 300 points is meaningless and simply a good selling point. The market is being rigged so that some big holders can get out, then they will let it keep falling. There is absolutely no reason to buy into this market - yet. The Bush recession will probably remnain nasty for about 2 years, and to fix it we will either have to raise taxes on the rich and corps or cut defense spending as well as all kinds of other spending. Defense spending has been out of control, and the biggest wastre of money since Vietnam.
