I used to live up in the New York Area and would spend time in the Adironacks in the winter. I guess the cold does get tougher to take as you get older. It's all fun and games when we are young right!!

John,

I got my start in the movies in the film department at the University of Vermont. -20 F was not uncommon in Burlington in those days before Global Warming. I drove a 1968 VW microbus, and recall one time a passenger made me pull over so he could warm his feet - he was afraid of frostbite.

I lived in an old farmhouse outside Shelburne for a time, where snow would line the inside of the window sill in the morning, and the water in my bedside glass would be frozen come moring.

I doubt I could deal with that kind of cold anymore.

On the other hand, I owe my success in the film industry to my early days at UVM, so, what can I say?
