1992? You mean that bridge had known problems throughout the eden that was the Clinton administration? I'm recalling this from memory but back then, it was identified that there were problems. However, I don't think they decided to replace it until 2001 or 2002. Dude, don't turn this into a partisan thing.....its a serious issue......there are a lot of bridges...probably some where you live.....that could come tumbling down when you least expect it due to an antiquated design and/or metal fatigue.
