As a matter of fact I did try them, and they were out at the time also. I googled first editions and tried all of them. One or two had one, but they were in poor conditon, and I didn't want to give him a very worn looking gift. I wanted one in almost perfect condition without paying over $300. When I first started, it sounded very doable, but the more I got into it and studied the abbreviations, the more I learned exactly what I needed to look for, and it just wasn't out there. You know, come to think of it, I never did go back to Alibris after that first search. I probably should have, I might have found it there later.
