After 8 years of increasingly vicious rhetoric emanating from his own party, I find Obama's message way too little and awfully late. Those folks only want unity when they think they can be in control, where the definition of unity actually means "we get our own way." Some of Bush's primary mistakes, imo, involved trying to make nice with the opposition and failing to utilize his veto power. It hardly bought him any favor with the rabid left and it only made his own constituency question his judgment.

That was a hoot.... I'm hoping right now and I hope you unite with me in my hope. Hoping neither Obama or the Clintons gain the presidency....<g> Just saw an excellent interview on Hannity and Colmes with Mitt Romney. He took everything that Colmes threw at him. Blows me away how articulate he is. Colmes was trying to make him look like a flip flopper but I think that flopped. With the economy coming to the forefront I can't think of anyone more capable to deal with it......
