I wanted to add, on the subject of high profile public figures who do drugs, or who have done drugs, up to and including persons running for president and at least one person who was president. No disrespect meant to anyone who holds his memory dear, but JFK was a drug addict. While he was president of the united states.

While there is some large difference in terms of experience or values or good habits in place between someone addicted under a doctors care and someone who just thinks its cool, the physiological effects of the drugs themselves are the same for the president and the skid row bum. And alcohol is a drug. As much as I get tired of saying that, I feel I need to, even at the considerable risk of sounding preachy. I'm sure there are other Presidents and persons of considerable power and influence, if one were to research the subject. Most recently, Bill Clinton didn't inhale. Like someone was going to hold him down or something.

Anyway, see what happens. Other than this board, the subject rarely comes up, even in my head.

Good to see you back, Bill.

I'll take your word for it.

My point of reference was my own family and my own experience. In that viewpoint, the best students were not the ones that had cocaine and the other drugs Obama did in high school as a big part of their lives.
