I agree with you...and I would hope that your friend Barbara Boxer will have the courage to endorse Obama...it would be nice if Ted Kennedy would come out and make a BIG endorsement too...that would help Obama increase his chances in the very important state of California. The easy thing is not to endorse anybody but the Clintons have a tremendous advantage all over the country. And I really hope our country can find a way to get beyond the Bush / Clinton dynasty. It's time for a new generation of leadership...;-)

Wrong. Rove is much-much-much worse than anything anyone in the Clinton camp has ever done. The Clintons have no record of smear campaigns of election fraud as Rove does in a huge way. The Clintons merely know how to play hardball politics, which includes spinning, at least occasional negative ads and making accusations, including against the press which has given Obama a free ride. I would define what they do as "sharp elbows". Huge difference from the ugly libelous smear campaigns of Rovians.

Look at it this way, if Obama can't get past this moderately tough Clinton campaign, what chance does he have against what could be the dirtiest most massive smear campaign in US history which the desperate but well-funded rightwing have in store fro him? That is called being vetted. So far so good for Obama, though I would say Hillary is ahead now, and Edwards climbing back into the race.

Bill Clinton played the race card in this campaign and he was called out for it on Hardball again today...Bill Clinton is a total embarassment and has hurt his party BIG TIME...Even if Hillary wins the nomination the Democratic party will have a very difficult time healing and coming together in the fall -- and I blame A LOT of this on Bill Clinton (and also on Hillary's surrogates)...slash and burn politics can come back and haunt candidates BIG TIME.

It's possible that Obama may still be able to overcome the odds and defeat the Clinton Machine - it would be a blessing for democracy IF that happened.
