I did all my diving in Okinawa for the 7 years I was stationed there. One of my favorite sites was the shoals about 5 miles off the Pacific coast. Christel clear water...you could see fish on the bottom 80' straight down, the current was a bitch though. I had a great time at Minami Diato Jima too, which was a 30 minute flight off the coast. While there we wanted to hunt some lobster so we chartered a fishing boat. The Captain dropped anchor about 500 yards out and told us to look for a cave below us about 50' down. I was the first one in, the cave opening was just big enough that I could fit through. I figured there'd be maybe 2 or 3 lobsters in there but when I entered I noticed that the cave walls were moving.... Adult spinies all over, I almost had a heart attack...<g> To say the least, we ate lobster for the next 3 days in just about every way you could make it. I was actually sick of it towards the end.....
