Dennis, it is interesting that the gas futures went up in the face of spot and next day prices mostly going down. Weather looks to be warming up as well.

Could be due to the fact that every commodity on the planet went up today.

GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: January 25, 2008 Gulf production has dropped even lower today to 11.8 Bcf/d from 12.1 Bcf/d yesterday and 12.3 Bcf/d two days ago. The biggest declines are on Tennessee in the LA offshore. Tennessee declared a force majeure on several Ship Shoal and Eugene Island meters after discovering a leak on its TTT line. It's unclear how long repairs will take because of poor weather conditions out in the Gulf. Independence Hub is down to 886,000 Dth/d today from a peak of 918,000 Dth/d two days ago. The Hub still has not matched the peak of 929,000 Dth/d set last month.
