Large cap stocks especially would have little correlation with rising inflationary expectations and are tied most directly to long term rates and PE expansion or contraction. Watch real estate rents in balanced markets, watch commodities, watch small cap stocks when the real inflationary wave hits coming out of this downturn.. For anyone to say they have 'won' any deflation war because the DOW goes up or down a few thousand points is sheer stupidity..
