You've nailed it. Obama is white and he is black.

I think Obama missed the position he should have taken which is I am an American-------forget the descriptive language regarding race.

Personally, I think this whole political exercise in the Dem Party is very divisive. The nation will recover; but it sure highlights the difference between the Democrats and Republicans.

In contrast, Republicans can stand proudly and point to the the legal citizens who were delegates to the National Conventions in 1980 and 1984 and subsequent conventions. These were people who were legal immigrants and citizens-----from Cuba, South Korea, China, Japan, as well as African Americans whose families had lived in Virginia since the days of slavery.

These delegates were all citizens, Americans, working at the local level in every capacity for the Republican Party and to elect President Reagan.

So here we are---- 20 years plus witnessing the Democrats being the party that divides because of remarks from the Clintons in regard to race.

Obama's socialist leanings are a problem for mainstream America. Can he change? He speaks of change in Washington and America: however, he must recognize that one can not have a serious talk about change unless he is willing to also change.
