Good, now that that is settled, let's move on.
I found THE recipe for West Indies Salad, and look where I found it!
This is exactly the recipe I was looking for, and it is delicious!!!! I kid you not. It is suppose to be a salad, but double it, because some people will make it their meal. It's that good.

West Indies Salad
Chef Bill Vogtner, Oysterella's

2 lb Jumbo lump crabmeat - picked through shells (not to break up lumps though)
1T Salt
1T Black Pepper
3C White Vinegar
2C Salad oil
1 Yellow Onion - julienned

Method:
Chop onions. Add salt and pepper. Add vinegar and oil. Mix well to break up onions. Pour mixture over picked crabmeat. Marinate overnight.
