That's the tricky part about being in debt up to your eyeballs -- everything looks fine until one day your scrip holders wake up and smell the coffee and no longer see the value in their being your bagholder any more -- that's when the run on your currency REALLY starts, and therefore when your cost of funds starts heading for the moon for lack of lenders, and you consequently lose your ability to administer a low domestic interest rate policy
