I find it stupid and insensitive to say that 9/11 "changed everything"- thus giving immense jollies to terrorists everywhere, and the 9/11 planners in particular. I dislike rewarding terrorists. We're a big country, and a terrorist attack isn't going to "change everything" unless we make it change everything, and even if we DID change everything, we certainly shouldn't say we've done that, and cooperate with the terrorists and let them know what a success they've had with our help. What bigger gratification can you give to terrorists? Yikes.
