I never met Henry Volquardsen, but he had a wit that I'll never forget. He was a natural born humorist.

One incident that comes to mind when discussing his wit, we were examining Al Gore’s boring personality combined with his love of trees. It was as if he were one of them. Someone asked how he would mate, and Henry said he would be a Wood-Pecker.

I'm sure I've left something out or messed it up somehow, but to this day when I hear Al Gore, I think of Wood Peckers. Right now, some of you are thinking that wasn’t funny, but if anyone had read it in sequence the way he popped up with the woodpecker remark was apropos for the situation.

Do you know what happened to him? What was Bill Meehan's user name, do you remember?
