We are spending as much in Iraq as China and Russia are spending togther on their military. steve, Did you read the Harpers link that Syb posted upstream? Its eye-opening.

Bin Laden did say he would bankrupt us... that was one of his promises... I have not wanted to play into his hands in anyway and I don't think any American would wish that. Worries me however. As someone said to me. Those refunds of money we get will just be spent on Chinese products. And in today's paper someone said, we don't trade with some countries.. like Cuba and others because they are Communistic. Why then do we trade with China. I know. They own us.
