I got a new to me cummins 4bt sitting in my 4x4 . 105 horse power , moved the van it came in just fine. Might tweak it abit , but not much . Should get decent mileage . Heavy busturd at 700 lbs but easy to work on .
Cummins has a new V6 being tested too.

RRE.v Reg Technologies, new motor, pump, compressor technology.
Been underdevelopment since the 80's. Hard to handicap the chances on something like this but the promise is very good. Definitely advantages to the design, lightweight, few moving parts high Horsepower output to weight, adaptable to all fuels.
This sort of thing I like to leave to others. Thought your mechanical ability might appreciate what they are doing.
15 mil mkt cap. I suppose there was a roll back somewhere in time.
